I met Janet and John almost a year ago as they were just beginning their plans. It is interesting that sometimes the photographer is one of last people brought into the wedding, and sometimes we are the first.
I liked that they knew precisely what wanted, and were very relaxed about their approach. Saturday ended up being a little warm for June, but thankfully not has blazing as the week before. I was helped with the wedding by the the wonderful Paige Stevens Buchbinder, who is a good freind and full of talent (and a bit of sass). Another pleasant suprise was the DJ – Bob Mednikov of AAA Disc Jockeys. Bob and I grew up together (back in prehistoric times). I have not seen Bob in almost 30 years, and it was great to reconnect. The music certainly got the guests motivated as well.
We had as much fun as the bride and groom I believe, and I think the images show it.
Oh yes, that is a Daddy Long Legs on one of the bridesmaids face…. I have no words at this point.
